NetherRealm’s newest fighting game, Injustice: Gods among us, has been unveiled to be the next game in the line up for EVO 2K13 by the guys over at Shoryuken. The current list of confirmed games are currently:
- Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
- Super Street Fighter IV Arcade edition
- Tekken Tag Tournament 2
- Mortal Kombat 9
- Street Fighter X Tekken
- King Of Fighters 13
- Persona 4 Arena
- Super Smash brothers Melee (The game decided by fans in the Players Choice contest)
- Injustice: God Among us
I’ve discussed the possibility of Injustice getting into EVO with a few friends when the game was originally released, and we all came to the point that it would only be admitted into EVO if the stage interactables and transitions were taken out. To my surprise, both of those mechanics are approved, and much to disagreement with the community the testers are also allowed for sign ups.
