Another Day, Another Special Edition 3DS

Just yesterday, a Special edition 3DS XL was annoucned for Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.

Today, Nintendo announced that Japan will be getting a special edition normal 3DS for Monster Hunter 4.  As you can see above!

The bundle will cost 19, 900 yen, that’s roughly $210 Australian. It will also come with a 4GB memory card with a download version of Monster Hunter 4. This is getting a bit much now isn’t it?

Don’t get me wrong. I love special edition stuff as much as the next guy, and I know Monster Hunter is a big deal in Japan. Aren’t these special editions meant to be special? Especially when another one is announced every time a big release is coming out. Who knows, maybe there is someone out there who plans to have a different 3DS for every day of the month. Possibly me. I will probably buy this.

Hooray hypocrisy!
