Well it certainly appears that the highly anticipated next gen title Watch_Dogs may be in a little bit of turmoil. NeoGAF member Rösti spotted something really peculiar, that the Watch_Dogs trademark has been filed for abandonment on February 1st. Here is the image encompassing all you need below.
As of right now, Ubisoft has yet to make an official statement. Let’s just hope this means a slight name change, or someone made an error somewhere. It would be a shame for such a promising Game to just go the way of the Dodo.
Watch Dogs was supposed to be a next gen launch title, but was delayed and given a vague release date of Spring 2014.
