So, Doom 4 has been in the works for quite a while apparently, because Bethesda just announced that Doom 4 is still happening, only, the game is seemingly going to be a complete reboot of the franchise, as the game is just called “Doom”.
The announcement came to be when Bethesda announced that anyone who pre-orders Wolfenstein: The New Order will have access to a beta of the new Doom game. Further information on when this beta will come to be has not been revealed at this point.
