2K announced today that Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant will make his solo debut as the video game cover athlete on NBA2k15, the next installment of 2K’s basketball video game simulation franchise.
Durant had just been crowned 2014 NBA Most Valuable Player, with a touching speech on his MVP acceptance, thanking his single mother for raising him. Durant’s dream of one day gracing the cover of the video game franchise is finally accomplished, and it’s hard to think of someone more deserving.
