Ubisoft Announces Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

Today Ubisoft announced the next installment in the ever-so-popular Assassin’s Creed franchise. Titled ‘Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’ the game takes players into Victorian London, playing as the brother-sister Assassin duo of Jacob and Evie, who will both be playable.

SCREEN_ACSThe story focuses on the climax of the Industrial Revolution, where the sheer amount of poverty and suffering has led to an uprising against the higher class, which conceals the Templar order. Jacob and Evie seek to build an army in the midst of this aggressive uprising in order to take back London and provide the people with the justice they so rightfully deserve.

Ubisoft has also announced that this year’s iteration will remain as a single-player only game. After the troublesome reception of ‘Assassin’s Creed Unity’ the team at Ubisoft Quebec has decided to focus on the creation of an even more intricate game world and refining gameplay mechanics.
