Nintendo’s First Mobile Game Launching On March 31st

Nintendo Australia have announced that Miitomo, Nintendo’s first mobile game will release late in the day on March 31st. Miitomi recently launched in Japan and has already passed one million downloads. Miitomo is a free-to-start social experience that lets users spark one-of-a-kind conversations with friends using their newly created Mii character. Gamers can also import their existing Mii from a Wii U or Nintendo 3DS using a QR code.

Once their Mii is ready, users can add friends by finding their friends through the app or by linking the app to Facebook or Twitter. You’ll then be able to spark up new conversations using pre-set questions that Nintendo have decided are intriguing and engaging.

It’s not too late to preregister for Miitomo. You can still register at before tomorrow in order to receive early access.

Users who sign up for a Nintendo Account before the end of April will also be able to download Flipnote Studio 3D to their Nintendo 3DS system for free. To claim the download, users must link their new Nintendo Account to the Nintendo Network ID they use on their Nintendo 3DS family system, then visit the My Nintendo website between March 31 and April 30.
