Industry source Shinobi and Eurogamer has reported that the 2016 iteration of Call of Duty being developed by Infinity Ward will be set in space. Infinity Ward’s previous game, Call of Duty Ghosts had it’s opening set in space, so gamers will be familiar with the setting.
Whilst previous entries such as Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 3 have featured futuristic gameplay elements, it’s likely that this game will take the plunge and be firmly placed in sci-fi territory.
The next Call of Duty game is expected to launch this November for PS4, Xbox One and PC. It will allegedly go up against the next Battlefield game.
