Flashback to March 19th 2015, when Square Enix announced that the online servers for Final Fantasy XI would terminated on March 31st, 2016. Final Fantasy XI was the last game to officially still support online play which marks the end of an amazing era in gaming.
Considering the PS2 was released on March 4th, 2000 & Final Fantasy XI was released in March 2004, the run of the PS2 is an incredibly one and one that will struggle to be beaten in the history of gaming.
