Following the rumours that Nintendo is allegedly funding a Beyond Good & Evil sequel exclusively for Nintendo NX, Ubisoft have now filed a trademark for the franchise. The trademark was filed with the European Union Intellectual Property Office and was first spotted by DualShockers.
This could be huge news as Beyond Good & Evil 2 was originally announced back in 2008. Series creator Michael Ancel has remained adamant that the confirmed sequel is still happening. It’s currently unclear when it will be announced however this is a positive sign to those that are hanging for the announcement.
