Those who grew up with Nintendo will remember their signature red branding that was present on all marketing material. In more recent years, their branding was represented with quite a dull grey.
It appears that Nintendo are going back to it’s roots. In the past 24 hours, Nintendo have changed their branding across their social media platforms to represent an older generation of Nintendo. This first began earlier this year when various Nintendo stores were updated to feature red and white signage.
More recently, Nintendo launched their new My Nintendo service which also features red prominently throughout the design. This is particularly important as Nintendo as set to announce a new console this year which will aim to remind gamers why Nintendo is so important in their life in order to bring them back to Nintendo.
