Blizzard have announced that 9.7 million players around the world played Overwatch during the open beta which took place on PS4, Xbox One and PC. This makes it not only Blizzard’s biggest open beta, but the biggest open beta of all time.
For comparison, Star Wars Battlefront had 9.5 million players, The Division had 6.4 million players and Destiny had 4.6 million players.
Overwatch will release on May 24th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
