Morocco’s largest internet service provided have banned online gaming completely. Whilst the country has multiple internet providers, Maroc Telecom have the largest share of internet by far. The reasoning is that apparently the regulatory agency in Morocco do not have the required licenses in order to provide Voice over IP which requires them to legally block online gaming.

Whilst gamers are outraged, the telecom provider are actually doing what is legally required unlike other service providers in the country.

Obviously, the games of Morocco have started a petition. It has 12,000 signatures and can be found HERE.
