In one of the more stranger stories that I’ve reported on, a Ford dealership in the states is using a distinctive piece of Firewatch artwork without permission to promote its new campaign. The images were used in both the below video and also in a flyer that was mailed out to customers. Whilst it’s not clear if this is an incident that’s isolated to the dealer, it seems to be more widespread with the official Ford Motor YouTube channel uploading a video several months ago also featuring Firwatch artwork. It’s had almost 2 million views to date.
Campo Santo, Co-producer Panic as well as artist Olly Moss have all weighed in on the situation on Twitter.
