It’s no secret that another Tomb Raider game would be in development, but the title may have leaked in the most coincidental way. Shadow of the Tomb Raider looks set to be the next Tomb Raider game. The title of the game leaked leaked from a development document displayed on a laptop on a train in Montreal.
Funnily enough, game titles leaking on laptops in public spaces isn’t a new thing with a former Assassin’s Creed game being leaked on an airplane passenger’s laptop.
Usually we’d be quite sceptical of something of this nature as it did come from Reddit, but Kotaku have confirmed the name with their own external sources.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider would be the third game in the rebooted franchise following Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider.
If all goes to plan, I’d expect that Shadow of the Tomb Raider will release late next year.
