Fallout 4 VR Is Completely Playable, But Still Has Issues

So at E3 last year, Bethesda revealed that they were working on a VR version of Fallout 4.

For the first time since then, Bethesda’s Todd Howard has given an update to Glixel. He has said that there’s a lot of work to be done, but it’s playable from start to finish.

He also stated that he believes it works quite well due to the fact that it’s not an intensely, twitchy shooter and that the combat is much slower.

Although, he did not that whilst it’s fully playable, there’s still issues that are based around player comfort.

“Locomotion is definitely the hard part, I will admit. Given the size of the world and the amount that you’re moving in Fallout 4 that part is tricky because you’re doing it a lot” he said.

It’s unclear when Fallout 4 VR plans to launch, although it wouldn’t surprise me if it was positioned alongside Project Scorpio later this year.

Thanks, Glixel.
