There’s A Massive LEGO Death Star In Sydney To Celebrate May The 4th Day

With May the 4th day taking place this week, LEGO has built a massive Death Star out of 210,000 LEGO Bricks at Westfield Warringah Mall in NSW. It measures 2.4m in circumference and weighs in at a massive 545kg.

One of only eight LEGO Master Builders in the world, Chris Steininger said: “2017 is a special year for Star Wars, and the LEGO Death Star build was an amazing celebration of the iconic film franchise. It was incredible to see so many fans come out to help us build – we couldn’t have completed such a big task without them all. It’s awesome to see the long-lasting legacy that both LEGO and Star Wars holds with Aussies of all ages.”
