In the lead-up to the release of Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, it appears nostalgia is being banked on big time as a couple of classically styled adverts have surfaced. Of course, similar ads were created way back in the late 90s before the first Crash Bandicoot game.
The first sees Crash Bandicoot — or rather a man in a daggy Crash suit — working out with a couple of personal trainers. The tagline? Buff then, buffer now.
The second, even stranger ad sees a still ‘fly’ Crash being tended to in a salon before taking a selfie. Then people say “tight” a lot and it’s got a tinge of cringe to it. The point is, Crash is still hip and with it.
