It’s only been on the market for a mere three months and yet PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has absolutely gone gangbusters and sold a huge four million copies already. Not only that, but it’s made a crazy $100m in revenue.
3 months… 4 million copies of @PUBATTLEGROUNDS sold… Thank you all again for your continuing support <3

As seen in the embedded tweet, creator Brendan Greene made the announcement and thanked players for their continued support.
It’s fair to say the game has become somewhat of a juggernaut. Its concurrent player numbers crush nearly every other game on Steam. Meanwhile, on Twitch 15% of all users watch PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds daily.
Who knows how many more copies the game will sell when it lands on Xbox One later this year.
