Castlevania has only been out for a couple of days, but it’s already been confirmed that the series is going to see a second season air courtesy of Netflix.
The first season only consisted of four episodes, but we’re glad to report that the second season will bring us double the fun with eight episodes. The series, inspired by Konami’s famous video game franchise, follows the Trevor Belmont, the final surviving member of his house, as he endeavours to put a stop on Dracula’s efforts to extinguish mankind.
The animated series is certainly true enough to its source material, though it can certainly be harrowing at times. One such scene comes early on when Dracula unleashes an army of night creatures upon an unsuspecting township.
Be warned, the clip contains graphic vision that might distress some.
Being that season one has only just released, there’s no concrete date for Castlevania’s second season as yet. Expect it to air sometime next year.
