Disney and Square Enix has confirmed Toy Story as the newest world to join the Kingdom Hearts universe, via a new trailer. The decent glimpse at the long-awaited sequel closes with the most enticing tidbit of all, that it is launching in 2018.
The trailer shows off a pint-sized Sora, Goofy and Donald, who appear toy-like to “protect the world order”, fighting off a swarm of Heartless in Andy’s room before meeting Woody and friends.
Toy Story joins other brand new worlds such as Big Hero 6 and Tangled.
Expect a lot more from Kingdom Hearts III in future as the lead-up to its 2018 release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One continues.
