Telstra is having major issues across Australia when it comes to people using both iMessage and FaceTime.
Listed on both their website and social media pages, Telstra urged customers to turn off their iMessage if they were having trouble sending messages, instead opting to send a regular text message. It’s not really clear what’s causing the issue, nor has a timeframe been provided for when it’ll be fixed, but this has been an ongoing issue for hours and definitely isn’t the first time.
Our team are working to fix an issue with Apple iMessage and Facetime for some customers. You can continue to send and receive SMS messages. We’ll provide an update ASAP.
