It’s today been announced that the Melbourne Esports Open is returning for a second year at Melbourne & Olympic Parks on August 31st and September 1st.
The event will see tournaments including the League of Legends Oceanic Pro League Finals and Overwatch Contenders Australia Finals. There will also be prized tournaments for Fortnite, Pokemon and Rainbow Six Siege.
It’s also been revealed that JB Hi-Fi’s Game Zone will be returning with playable games that are yet to be released. Last year, attendees got to play games like The Division 2, Spider-Man and Spyro: Reignited Trilogy before they released.
Tickets will be on sale on Monday, April 15th from Ticketek. Tickets will start at $19.90 (single day junior pass).
