A New Spider-Man: No Way Home Trailer Has Dropped And Brings The Spider-Verse With It

After leaking unceremoniously yesterday, Marvel has wasted no time in releasing an official look at the next film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Like Wandavision and Loki already have through their limited run series, and the next Doctor Strange film will, No Way Home continues the new multiversal arc that’ll run through the Phase 4 films.

It looks as though the film’s perilous plunge into spacetime funnies will stem from Peter reaching out to Doctor Strange in hopes he might be able to cast a spell to help him get back to a point where his identity as Spider-Man isn’t public record.

Of course, it all hits the fan and the Spider-Verse cracks open. We’ve long heard rumours that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield might reprise their roles as the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, and though we don’t see them we get nods toward Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin and Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus, lending a certain credibility to the rumours.

Whatever the case ends up being, the hype levels are certainly ratcheting up for this next Spider-Man film.

Spider-Man: No Way Home releases in cinemas on December 17, 2021.
