During this morning’s Capcom NEXT showcase, in which the company revealed some exciting looks at the upcoming Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, spoke a bit more about Resident Evil 7’s iOS port and even confirmed the next Resident Evil game, the company also dropped a demo for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess.
The demo allows players to check out part of the main story before it launches for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows and PC on July 19th, with no limits playtime.

As part of the fun of the demo, Capcom also revealed it’s put together a special collaboration with 2006’s absolutely timeless Okami. It’ll bring new costumes and special items for the game’s main character, Soh, as well as Yoshiro, all themed on Okami. While there are also the typical pre-order coming to the game, the Okami gear will be free to everyone provided that some conditions are met in the demo.
Capcom revealed that it wants players to work together through a pre-launch unlock campaign that kicks off today and ends on July 17th, and on completion it’ll make the Okami collab items will be available as part of a free update for everyone who buys a copy of the game. To unlock Soh’s Okami armour and weapon, players will need to collectively gather 1 billion crystals in the demo, and to unlock the Maiden, Yoshiro’s outfit and special BGM, they’ll need to collectively find 15 “Lucky Mallets” hidden within the demo.
