Aussies Are Selling NES Classic Minis For Ridiculous Amounts On eBay

We knew quite some time ago that the NES Classic Mini would sell out very quickly in Australia, so naturally, this was always going to lead to scalping, but what we’ve seen on eBay since yesterday is far beyond what we could have expected.

There’s a high number of SUCCESSFULLY sold NES Classic Minis on eBay for over $500. This is 5 times the amount of the original RRP. It begs the question of just how many people lined up at Target and Big W with the intention to actually play the console.

A second allocation is due to drop in Australia in early December, but that may well be the last shipment that Australia sees. This is worse than the great Wii shortage of 2006.
