With many people opting to place skins or stickers on their Nintendo Switch to celebrate the launch of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, popular Vinyl creator ‘Dbrand’ has taken to Reddit to inform people that they shouldn’t use such accessories with the Nintendo Switch
After significant testing, they’ve come to the conclusion that the Joy-Cons use a special coating which doesn’t work with adhesive. The adhesive causes the outer coating to peel.
It’s also been reported by the manufacturer that on the back of the Nintendo Switch, the logo is screen-printed in light grey which also could peel off with adhesive over time.
