Nintendo Japan has announced that Nintendo Switch sold 313,000 units in the first weekend in Japan. This is slightly higher than the Nintendo Wii U launch, however it’s important to note that the Nintendo Switch launched in March which is not a key-selling period.
The Nintendo Switch is currently sold out throughout Japan and has now outsold the Nintendo Wii U in every major territory.
