In 2007, American high school student Corey Bunnell posted on a message board about his dreams of becoming a game designer at Nintendo, an incredible difficult feat especially for an American developer.
Well, ten years later and it turns out that his dream came true, as he’s listed as a developer in the credits of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
As noticed on Reddit, after being one of the only English named people listed in the Breath of the Wild credits, Bunnell was one of the wildlife programmers on the game.
“My dream is to live in Japan and work for Nintendo as a game designer,” Bunnell wrote.
As the internet digs up interesting tidbits from his past, Bunnell went on to study in Japan, which you can see in the video below.
Honestly, this is incredibly amazing to see. Sometimes dreams feel out of reach, but this is just a memory that nothing is unachievable.
