NeoGAF user ‘MDAVE’ has posted about having an incredibly odd question mark tile on his Nintendo Switch home screen since the day he purchased it.
It was there before he did the day one firmware and remained there after. It doesn’t appear that there is a way to delete it.
Upon opening it, it asks him to insert a cart (he only owns Zelda) and it also shows up on the system storage as ??? with 0mb of storage spaced being taken up by it.
Honestly, it’s interesting that we’ve not seen this on any other Nintendo Switch to-date. If we were to hazard a guess, we’d say it’s some kind of test software that was not removed.
