It’s been revealed that NBA 2k18 will release digitally on Nintendo Switch on the same day as all of the other platforms (September 19th) but it won’t release physically until later in the year.
A release date has not yet been set for the physical version and it’s unclear why there would be a delay, but this suggests that the Nintendo Switch version probably won’t be complete until close to launch or that the Nintendo Switch cartridge process takes longer than PS4/Xbox One discs.
Regardless, it’s pretty good to see that the the game will release (albeit digitally) on the same day as the other consoles. NBA 2k18 is one of those games that you’d love to have on the go and should hopefully suit the Switch perfectly.
