Nintendo has just released version 2.1.0 for ARMS on Nintendo Switch. Surprisingly, Nintendo had recently revealed that the game had sold over a million copies, which means that their plan to support the game with free content for months to come was a good decision.
Unfortunately, this update doesn’t include a new fighter (or even a new ARM), but Nintendo revealed that the next major update would bring one of each. What this update does bring though is a bunch of new training initiatives as well as some much needed balancing changes for all of the fighters and ARMS.
- “Training” moved to the top menu.
- We added five items of “training”. In addition, the difficulty level of the standard was indicated in each item.
- We changed the pose menu, result menu, and replay menu of “training” to improve convenience.
- When three to four people started a battle, we showed how to switch the target. Also, we made the cursor to be displayed over the target over a certain period of time.
- Adjusted how energy of the special rush is settled, and reduced the amount of increase when the punch did not hit the opponent.
- Regarding the “Stage of Stage” of the record, the stage with less frequent playing has been made difficult to be selected even if the winning percentage is high.
- We reviewed the hit judgment area of the fighter and improved the problem not hit even if it looked like it hit.
- Fixed a problem that skipping an ending at a specific timing causes the game not to proceed.
- We adjusted the performance of some fighters and arms as follows.
Fighter name Changes Master Mommy - I improved the speed of the dash.
- I increased the speed of jumping when I jumped.
Mechanical - I increased the speed of jumping when I jumped.
Kid cobra - We adjusted the buoyancy at jump attack.
Byte & Bark - I trained Bark to get up early.
Arm name Changes boomerang - I improved the speed when thrown around the outside.
- I increased the speed of extension.
- I upgraded the target tracking performance.
Ice edge - I increased the speed of extension.
- I upgraded the target tracking performance.
revolver - I increased the speed of extension.
- We improved the bending performance.
- I increased the speed from extension to shrinkage.
- We shortened the time from launching the special rush to the first launch.
Autocanon - We improved the bending performance.
- I increased the speed from extension to shrinkage.
- I increased the expansion rate when growing.
Umbrella - I increased the expansion rate when growing.
- I increased the speed from extension to shrinkage.
- I reduced the expansion rate of the charge attack.
Mega volt - We improved the bending performance.
- I increased the speed from extension to shrinkage.
Orochi - I upgraded the target tracking performance.
Trident - I increased the speed of extension.
- I damaged the damage given by the special rush.
Triple Bomb - I increased the speed of charge attack.
Lock-on - I uploaded the damage given by the special rush.
Phalanx - When charging attack hit, we lengthened the electric shock time.
- Fixed a problem which caused unnecessary behavior when a Special Rush hit the wall or the step.
Gel gel - Fixed an issue that caused unnatural behaviors when a special rush hit an opponent not targeting it.
Chaser - I slowed down the speed from extension to shrinkage.
- When the charge attack hit, we shortened the time for electric shock.
Hot ring - I slowed down the speed from extension to shrinkage.
- I reduced the expansion rate of the charge attack.
- I downed the charge attack speed.
Galaxy Pop Star Vertical - I slowed down the speed from extension to shrinkage.
Ballooner pressure - I slowed down the speed of growth.
- I slowed down the expansion rate when growing.
