Who doesn’t remember Mario Tennis on the Nintendo 64? We do. And we’ve been hoping for a solid follow up ever since. Nintendo today announced as part of their Nintendo Direct Mini that they’ll be putting out a new Mario Tennis for the Switch. Titled Mario Tennis Aces, the game is a brand new creation for the Switch.
Not a lot was shown but Nintendo did reveal that a Story Mode will be returning to the franchise, allowing players the opportunity to indulge in a variety of missions as well as fight it out with challenging bosses.
No date was set for Mario Tennis Aces, but it’s due for release this year exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
