If the Nintendo Wii U wasn’t already dead, Nintendo Labo just killed it.

As of today, the Nintendo Wii U is almost nonexistent on the Nintendo website with Nintendo Labo completely replacing it in the sidebar. The 3DS and Amiibo are both still there which means that Nintendo deem both of these more valuable than the home console.
It’s actually quite interesting. Nintendo never really dropped the price of Wii U or marketed it as a budget console. It was just killed off almost instantly and this is the final nail in the coffin. It’s good to see that the fantastic lineup of the Wii U are being ported over to the Switch one game at a time, though.
Honestly, I’m so happy to see Nintendo firing on all cylinders again. The last 12 months have been a wild ride and there’s literally no signs of this hype train slowing down.
