Bill Shorten has his sights set on becoming Australia’s next Prime Minister, but he’s still able to make some time to put in work on the Mario Kart track.
If you were scrolling through the Instagram Stories of all the Aussie pollies you follow on Instagram, you might’ve noticed an unusual sight. Making an appearance in Perth, Shorten took some time out ahead of the show to try and beat his lap time on Mario Circuit, proclaiming “it’s never too early for Mario Karts”
His cornering could do with some work but otherwise, he was holding his own. Perhaps, if we’re lucky, we might see him challenge ScoMo to a race in the impending election campaign.
