After the Crysis Twitter account became active again prompting us to believe that either a Remaster or brand new entry in the series was on the way, Crysis: Remastered has now been leaked. The game will be coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
Parts of the official website have gone live a little bit early and leaked the game’s logo, key assets as well as description of the game ahead of the official announcement. This was discovered by @RobotBrush over on Twitter.
The Metadata of the website reveals the description:
From the makers of Far Cry, Hunt: Showdown and CRYENGINE, Crysis offers first person shooter fans the best-looking, evolved, and innovative gameplay, enabling players to adapt in real time to survive. Crysis Remastered brings new graphic features, high-quality textures, and the CRYENGINE’s native hardware- and API-agnostic ray tracing solution for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and – for the very first time – Nintendo Switch
Interestingly enough, EA doesn’t seem to be mentioned anywhere on the website, which suggests that the license for Crysis could have gone back to Crytek.
