Nintendo has posted a six minute overview trailer for Mario Golf: Super Rush. It details all of the modes, the online functionalities, the 16 characters that will be in the game and the single-player RPG.
As far as characters go, it looks like there’s Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Bowser, Bowser Jr, Boo, Donkey Kong, Rosalina, Pauline, Toad, Chargin’ Chuck and King Bob-omb. Each character has their own special shot. For instance, King Bob-omb is able to spawn a bomb in the landing zone.
We got a brand new look at Speed Golf which speeds things up by letting everybody take their shots at the same time. You can collect items, and you’ll have a special dash in order to try and clear the course before your opponents can.
There’s also a mode called Battle Golf which is basically Speed Golf, but it all takes place on one course, so it’s even more chaotic.
As far as the single-player Gold Adventure mode goes, you’ll take your Mii to the top of the rankings, by coming across Mario Kingdom’s finest and levelling up your character.
