What looks like a Diglett, moves like a Diglett, and is seemingly named after a Diglett but is a completely different species? It’s Wiglett, of course!
Revealed this week, the official Pokémon twitter account describes Wiglett as a Garden Eel Pokémon that “pokes a part of its body out of the sand to feed in the ocean.”
According to the Pokemon website, Wiglett is a Water type and comes in at a height of 3″11 above ground (what’s under the ground is unclear) and weighs in at just under 2kgs. Other than looking the severely sunburned facial appendage of a very white beachgoer, its nose can supposedly pick up scents from nearly 20m away.
