UPDATE 2: In addition to Wii U, PS1 and Xbox being added in recent months, EB Games has now added Nintendo DS, PSP and PlayStation vita games to be purchased and as a reminder these can be purchased both online HERE and in-store as well.
At the time of writing, the PSP and DS sections are quite healthily stocked, but the Vita section is quite small but it’s presumed that this will be added to over time.
UPDATE: We can now confirm that all stores now have their range of retro games/accessories. Whilst the full line-up of PS1, Xbox and Wii U games aren’t online, they have been started getting added (A few examples below).
ORIGINAL STORY: After an initial roll out online and in select stores, EB Games has confirmed that it will roll-out its retro games to all EB Games stores on Monday, August 11th. This means that you’ll be able to buy consoles, games and accessories from all EB Games stores.
In addition to this, EB Games has confirmed that it will be adding three new platforms for sale in all-stores and online. This includes the original PlayStation, Xbox and Wii U which will join the existing line-up of PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.
Obviously, given these are all pre-owned and stock is unpredictable, what you find in store may vary greatly depending on what has been traded in at that particular store, but it’s great to see that retro is coming to all EB Games stores.
