Minecraft Is Now Helping Australian Students In The Classroom

Microsoft Australia has today revealed that Minecraft: Education Edition is now available in Australian classrooms. It is an open-world game that has been specifically designed to promote creativity, collaboration and problem solving.

The general release of Education Edition also includes a companion application called Classroom Mode that will allow teachers to monitor the Minecraft world as well as mentor students during play.

The game will allow up to 30 students to be able to work together to build projects and solve problems across a wide range of age levels and subjects.

Minecraft: Education Edition will include new game features and the latest updates to Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition beta which will include user interface, leads and horses, additional player skins, pistons and the remainder of Redstone functionality.
