No Man’s Sky Creator Expects The Game Won’t Be For Everyone

No Man’s Sky creator Sean Murray has written a blog post detailing exactly what No Man’s Sky is all about to make sure that everybody picking the game up is clear of the concept, and won’t be disappointed.

Murray talks about some of the early trailers and speaks about how the game has changed quite a lot since then.

Murray then goes on to say that the footage in trailers may have set up a certain scenario in your mind.

“That means this maybe isn’t the game you imagined from those trailers” he wrote.

“If you hoped for things like pvp multiplayer or city building, piloting freighters, or building civilisations… that isn’t what No Man’s Sky is. Over time it might become some of those things through updates,” he adds, pointing out that base building and freighters are in currently development.

“If you decide to play it, you’ll see just how closely it plays to those trailers, and to our original vision. It’s a weird game, it’s a niche game and it’s a very very chill game.”

Murray ends his blog post by saying that the game will probably be super divisive.

We’ll have some impressions up on the site later this week. Here’s everything that you need to know about No Man’s Sky.
