Sony has officially announced the upcoming “Future of PlayStation” event, which will be taking place in the PlayStation Theater in New York on September 7th. The event was announced as members of the press received invitations to attend a “PlayStation Meeting” next month.
The announcement strongly suggests that the rumors of the PS4 NEO announcement that would take place on the 7th may have been accurate and that Sony will finally debut its premium PlayStation 4 system, which has also been rumored to launch later this year.
Not much else is known about the event as of yet, but with the title of “The Future of PlayStation” we’ll surely be in for quite a show.
