Red Dead Redemption Remastered Could Be Announced This Week

Korean games site Gamefocus is reporting that Rockstar is working on a remastered version of Red Dead Redemption for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The original version of the game in Korea came with a book that forced gamers to read along as they played through the game. It is said that this HD version would be fully localised for Korea.

The site also claims that the remaster will be announced this week, most likely during Sony’s Playstation meeting early on Thursday morning.

I’m not sure what to make of this rumour and quite frankly don’t know how credible Gamefocus are. It wouldn’t be so out of the question for Rockstar to announce Red Dead Redemption HD or even a brand new Red Dead Redemption game. It was heavily rumoured that a trailer for RDR 2 was pulled from Sony’s E3 press conference at the last second.

It’s hard to believe that Sony would use a HD version of such an old game to show off their over-powered console. Although, it’s much more plausible that it could be announced alongside Red Dead Redemption 2

Thanks, Gamefocus (In English)
