With the majority of Sony’s PS4 offering being delayed out of Holiday 2016, Gravity Rush 2 will most likely be the best first-party PlayStation 4 game released in Q4 of this year.
The first game was originally released exclusively on PlayStation Vita before making its way to PlayStation 4, but due to the small install base of the Vita, it was largely underappreciated and it was an absolutely incredible game. If there was one area that didn’t really grab me in the original, it was definitely the story, but judging by the trailer below, Gravity Rush 2 seems to be genuinely fleshed out and interesting.
Gravity Rush 2 is set to release in Australia on November 30th (barring any last minute delays), and judging by the latest trailer, it looks like it’s more insane than the first game. It’s being developed by Sony Japan, who release incredible games but ultimately take quite a while between releases.
