PlayStation has explained why Australia/UK’s PlayStation VR demo disc will only contain eight games compared to the 18 in the US. As we expected, it comes down to age rating and localisation requirements.
“Due to several considerations specific to our region, for example, age rating and localisation requirements, there is a difference in content between the US and European VR demo discs,” Said a PlayStation spokesperson in an interview with DigitalSpy.
There is the potential that all 18 of these demos might make its way to the Australian PSN, although it’s unclear whether this will happen in time for launch.
PlayStation VR is out on October 13th in Australia.
