Doom has just received a new update that essentially adds a whole new single-player score-attack mode to the campaign. Arcade Mode essentially transforms Doom’s single-player campaign into a series of challenges in which players can compete with each other via leaderboards.
In Arcade Mode, everything is unlocked including guns, runes, upgrades and equipment. You’re able to change up your loadout and gear in order to rack up the highest score possible.
The latest update also adds classic Doom textures to SnapMap for those that want to create stages in the vein of the old Doom games.
The new update also includes some multiplayer modes.
