Ubisoft’s upcoming new franchise For Honor is one that has had gamers excited since its announcement earlier this year. Although, the latest revelation is dumbfounding.
For Honor is primarily a single-player game, but it has now been revealed that the single-player campaign will require gamers to be online at all times.
The publisher’s community representative revealed on their forum: “We can confirm that For Honor is an always-online experience. Some elements of progression, which is hosted online, are shared across story and multiplayer modes. Players will need to be connected at all times to play For Honor.”
Press Start has gone hands-on with For Honor on three separate occasions and we were left impressed with the games core mechanics. You can read our Gamescom preview HERE.
For Honor will release in February for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
