A few weeks ago, the PlayStation 4 software update 4.50 BETA included a stealth Boost mode for PlayStation 4 Pro. Boost mode is said to improve the performance of older games that have not yet received a PS4 Pro update.
The heroes at Digital Foundry has done some testing on some popular open-world games.
Bloodborne’s load times have seen no improvement but the framerate dips are a lot less prominent. Dark Souls 3 still suffers from similar issues.
Other games in the comparison include Dark Souls 3, Dark Souls 2, The Evil Within, Oddworld; New n’ Tasty and Until Dawn.
