Spider-Man On PS4 Is Apparently Releasing This Year

Ryan Penagos, the Vice President of Marvel’s Digital Media Group has pretty much confirmed that Spider-Man will release on the PlayStation 4 in 2017.

Sony and Insomniac Games announced that game at E3 in June, last year, but there’s been nothing said about the game since.

Penagos had the below to say in a recent livestream:

“And there’s even more on the horizon for 2017 like Spider-Man coming to PS4 and Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite coming to Xbox One, PS4, windows PC…”

We know that the game will be set in an open-world and that Spider-Man: Homecoming which releases in cinemas in early July.

It’s probably a bit ambitious to say that the game will be released alongside the movie, with a more realistic release date being the holiday season of 2017.
