Earlier today Ubisoft posted a photo of Far Cry 3 art on Facebook with the caption ‘an island we never really left’.
It’s quite possible that Ubisoft is set to announce a new Far Cry game at their upcoming E3 press conference. It’s been almost two years since we got our proper last Far Cry game, so it’s about time for a new one.
Could it potentially be a Far Cry 3 remaster or a prequel telling the story of the incredible villain Vaas? Many gamers including myself absolutely loved that character and believe that he didn’t play a big enough role in the original game.
Either way, I’m always excited for a new Far Cry game. They manage to shake it up just enough in each iteration and they’re an absolute ball to explore.
With E3 just over a month away, let the rumour mill go into overdrive. It’s the best time of the year for gamers. Ubisoft still hasn’t confirmed their press conference time, but with speculation high that we’ll be getting a new Assassin’s Creed game, you can guarantee they’ll be having one.
